Delilah Dusticle is back with an action packed mission. In this illustrated installment, Delilah and the Dustbusters are invited to Transylvania to cater for the Hallow Eve Ball. All is not what it seems and Count Dracula has a very unusual request.

Mandy's Review:

The Delilah Dusticle series is intended for children between the ages of 8 to 12 years old. Transylvanian Adventure is the second book in the Dusticle series. The first book in the series, Delilah Dusticle, introduced the main character and her amazing ability to us. In this book, Delilah Dusticle has started her own cleaning business with her best friend, Abi. It's while they're doing one of their jobs that Delilah gets invited to Count Dracula's castle to prepare it for his upcoming annual Hallow Eve Ball.

Upon arrival, Delilah realizes that Count Dracula is not at all what she was prepared to expect. Instead of a dirty, cobwebby castle, the Count's home is immaculate. Delilah becomes uneasy wondering why she's even there. During his explanation of why he requires Delilah's services, Delilah learns something about herself she subconsciously considered but didn't really believe. Delilah is a Dust Fairy.

This revelation begins a series of events that put Delilah into danger. The supporting characters are more fleshed out in this book and play a more active role in Delilah's story. Will Delilah ever realize her full potential? Will she ever find out who her people are? Are there more like Delilah?

I'm really enjoying this series and think the age group this is geared towards is appropriate. If you have a child that likes to read, I would recommend picking up A.J. York's Delilah Dusticle series.
